ABOUT ME

I have always been fascinated with the world of diamonds and high-end jewellery. As a child I would spend time window shopping, casting my eyes over beautiful objects within the jewellers shops.

Over some years I have designed jewellery and sourced items for family and friends, out of sheer love.

Knowing which diamonds to choose (colour, clarity, cut and carat) and finding good deals were always important factors. This is what I base my business ideology on today: Great design and High-quality items for a fair price. Now, a mother of two young adults, I am able to fulfil my lifelong passion and begin to immerse myself in the industry.

I work alongside diamond and gemstone dealers in the USA, Europe, Middle East and the Far East.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

I'd like to take this opportunity to emphasise that I only work with environmentally friendly companies. I've chosen firms that design contemporary pieces around already sourced diamonds and gems. Not the other way around, making it more ethical and sustainable practice and ultimately means less mining.

All diamonds sourced are included in the Kimberley Process. The Kimberley Process (KP) unites administrations, civil societies, and industry in reducing the flow of conflict diamonds - 'rough diamonds used to finance wars against governments' - around the world

In some instances, 'Lab diamonds ' are used as an alternative to natural diamonds help elevate the beauty of a design. Lab diamonds are optically, physically and chemically the same as natural diamonds, but are chosen simply as a more ethical, sustainable and positive price point choice.

Some of my designs also use recycled diamonds from vintage pieces and place them in new designs. If this is the case, I will advise within the advert.

RE-WORK AND RE-LOVE

I'd like to take a moment to mention there are millions of unloved pieces of jewellery items out there in people's drawers and boxes. Together let's reuse, re-work and re-love these pieces. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing precious metals and gemstones come back to life in new designs and seeing people fall in love with them again.

I work with two award-winning jewellery workshops in Leeds and York both with decades of experience, who will delicately handmake these items. If you would like to discuss a custom piece, brand new or to remodel old items please message us.

If you have any further questions, please message me.

Can't wait to hear from you!

Helen xx
