DELIVERY & RETURNS

Delivery:


Please note our jewellery is handmade and most items on our website are made specially to order, therefore we ask that you please be aware of our delivery times and returns policy indicated for each product. 
For all our jewellery please note the delivery times on the website and allow the maximum time* from the date that you place your order and make payment until your jewellery is dispatched for delivery. 


For our fine jewellery and bespoke items please allow a possible 10 working weeks* from the date that you confirm designs and make payment.


We use Royal Mail Special Delivery, a secure, next day delivery** service which requires a signature upon receipt. 
We charge £12.99 for items up to £250.00, £19.99 for items between £251.00 and £500.00 and it is free for any items over £500.00


*We will do our best to deliver within the times indicated, however they are for general guidance only and we cannot be held liable for late delivery of goods caused by circumstances outside of our reasonable control.


**Please note, that although this is a next day delivery service, your jewellery has to be made, so the next day is from the date of despatch, not the date that the order is placed. You will receive a confirmation email when your order has been despatched.
International delivery:


For orders over £1500 we offer free shipping.
For orders under £1500 we charge a holding cost of £75.00. Once we receive your order, we will calculate the shipping costs and get in touch. We are happy to refund any amount over the shipping costs or may request a further balance to cover the shipping in some circumstances.


Cancellation & Returns:


*Please note bespoke, made to order and engraved items cannot be returned to You Little Diamond Ltd. Please make sure your design and engraving instructions are correct when ordering*


Cooling-off Period: customers are legally entitled to cancel an order within 14 working days of receipt of the product and return it for a full refund provided that the goods are returned to us in perfect condition with all original packaging. You must notify us by email at Helen@youlittlediamond.com.


Please note, this doesn’t apply to any products that are engraved, bespoke or made to order. These items are special orders, which means that the piece will be made or customised specially for you. This includes all gold and platinum pieces. Because of this, these pieces of jewellery and gifts cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances. For reasons of hygiene, we are unable to offer exchanges or refunds on earrings.


Cancellation: if you realise you have made an error and want to cancel your order, please contact us. It may be too late to cancel the order in which case you will need to return it to You Little Diamond and we will issue a credit note.


Please note you cannot cancel or return any engraved jewellery & gifts, bespoke or made to order jewellery & gifts.
All orders are subject to availability. We do our best to keep our online stock updated, but it is possible that an item goes out of stock after your order has been accepted. If this happens, Customer Care will get in touch as soon as possible to give you a new delivery date, an alternative or a full refund.


Returns Policy:


You little Diamond Ltd. accepts returns and exchange requests made within 14 working days from when the goods have been received by you or a third party. Items returned must be in perfect, new and unused condition with all its original packaging. We will not accept any items that bear any signs of use. Returns received after the 14-day period and up to 28 days will only be accepted at the discretion of You Little Diamond Ltd for a credit note. A credit note is valid for one year from the date of issue. Returns received after the 28-day period will not be accepted and will be returned to you.


Please note that we cannot accept returns for engraved jewellery & gifts, bespoke or made to order jewellery & gifts or casts.
Damaged or Faulty Goods: in the unlikely event you receive goods which are damaged or faulty please contact us at Helen@youlittlediamond.com within 7 working days of receiving your order and we will endeavour to replace your damaged goods as quickly as possible once we have received the items.


Returning an item to us: please ensure that you include your name and address and whether you require a refund or exchange. Items must be returned to us in perfect, unused condition with all the original packaging to: Customer Care, You Little Diamond ltd, 2, Low Street, South Milford, LS25 5AR. We advise that items returned to us are sent via registered post and a proof of postage certificate is obtained, as we cannot be responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit. For all returns, except where items are faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the items to us.


Items returned must be new and in an unused condition with all the original packaging and invoice/receipt. We will not accept any item which bears any indication that it has been used, in such cases, the item will be returned to you.

Jewellery Care

Fine Jewellery is delicate and should be cared for accordingly. To extend the life of your jewellery, please follow these care instructions:

  • Take off your items before your daily rituals such as - showering, applying lotion, perfume, exercising, washing dishes, etc.

  • Before bedtime, lay your jewellery out flat on a fabric surface to avoid tangling and/or scratching.

  • To clean your jewellery, use a soft toothbrush with dish soap and gently scrub the metal and diamonds. We do not suggest an ultrasonic cleaner.

  • Do not clean any semi precious gemstones or pearls with chemicals, abrasives, or solvents.
